What clinicians are saying about the BoneFoam Pelvic Cradle:

I don't know why everyone isn't using the Pelvic Cradle to do pelvic exams.

A 27-year old G0 patient needed to have her IUD replaced, but was hesitant because she had significant endometriosis, a posterior cervix and trauma from prior pelvic exams. I offered to go to the operating room for the procedure versus doing it in the clinic with the Pelvic Cradle. I showed her the Pelvic Cradle and discussed how it was designed to help to more comfortably see the cervix. She elected to try the procedure in the clinic. She was so grateful because she avoided having to go to the OR. After the procedure, she said her experience with the Pelvic Cradle was a lot better compared to prior pelvic exams. She said, "I don't know why everyone isn't using that to do pelvic exams."

I was so glad I didn't have to ask the patient to use her fists — our patients deserve better!

This device should be the standard of care.

My 59-year-old patient had not had a Pap smear to screen for cervical cancer in over 10 years because of trauma and pain during prior pelvic exams. We were able to use the Pelvic Cradle to do the exam and collect her Pap smear. Afterwards, she cried because the exam was so easy and painless. This device should be the standard of care.

We used it Friday during a delivery on a patient who had been pushing for several hours. She used the Pelvic Cradle and delivered maybe 20 minutes later. They thought she was direct OP, so I suggested using the cradle. It turned out the baby wasn’t OP, but it still helped maximize space for delivery! So great!

Since our department got the Pelvic Cradle, I use it on all my L&D triage patients that need a speculum exam, or for challenging digital cervical exams. With the Pelvic Cradle positioner, I no longer need to break down the bed. Not only does the patient prefer it, but my back and my nurses are very appreciative too! I'm also grateful that it saves time.

I'm undergoing IVF and the ultrasonographers often have a hard time seeing my left ovary. To find it, they have to press really hard which is painful. I brought the Pelvic Cradle to use during the ultrasounds and with it, they are able to see my ovary easily with very little pressure.

I had a patient who was undergoing an induction of labor with a BMI of 50. I used the Pelvic Cradle to place a Cook balloon, which made placement easier and less uncomfortable. I was so glad I didn't have to ask the patient to use her fists — our patients deserve better!
